HOW TO GET A GAME SERVER HOSTED

First of all what are game server providers, GSPs, and why do I need one? If, like me, you love playing games with your other online gaming buddies you generally play together online. You and your team need a playground that will provide the online space for you to. How and where does all that information get processed? There are two main methods.
The first is peer to peer. Peer to peer is a well established protocol of information sharing between willing computers. In the case of online computer games this is where one computer acts as the host (master computer if you like) and all other players' computers send their information to the master. This gives the player hosting the game a slight advantage in response time or lower ping and of course once that player leaves the game the server no longer exists as it was dependent on his connection, historically this has been referred to as a 'listen server'.
Dedicated Servers. Some games companies like Activision and EA provide their own online "official" or "ranked" dedicated servers where they have their own machines in their own data centre hosting official servers that they control and admin. Console games generally also have their own dedicated servers provided by the developers or peer to peer solutions in some cases as with Modern Warfare 2 and 3. But some servers are provided by individuals who like to have personal control over how their game server is setup. These come in two options. Either the individual has a rented or owned machine and hosts the game server themselves. The second option is to rent a dedicated game server from a large list of GSP's (game server providers) who for a small monthly charge can host your server for you 24 hours a day and have web based graphic user interfaces in order to start, stop, reinstall, edit configuration files, setup scheduled restarts, install mods and much more. This is in large part the most common choice as it is both cost effective and much easier to get started. Only basic knowledge is needed in order to host a server this way. That is why the GSP industry has grown to a 5 million dollar a year industry.
What are online servers?
A server is a machine running in a data centre (DC) with a high bandwidth connection to the internet and a redundant power supply to keep things online 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This allows lots of players to connect to one place to all play together. GSP's host their game servers on machines in a data centre.
What is ping?
Ping is just an ICMP command that checks the time it takes for a packet of information to travel from one computer to another and back again. Ping is measured in ms or milliseconds which are thousandths of a second. A game server that is hosted within 300 miles of your physical location should provide you with a good latency to your game server.
Full Dedicated Server
I have heard of dedicated servers. What are these?
You can rent a full dedicated server, this gives you root access to a Windows Server machine via Remote Desktop Connection. This is for advanced users as setting up a game server using steamcmd and configuring the firewall can be a time consuming process but for large communities and clans this is the only option. Full control over your game servers, root access to all of the files, something you will never get with shared game server hosting. It comes with a cost though, around the $100 per month mark so get those donations flowing to pay for the hardware.
Shared Game Server Hosting
Renting through a GSP (game server provider) is the most common and the best bang for your buck way to run a game server. You choose a provider from the many 100's out there, choosing which provider to go with can be quite a daunting task. Here are the main points to consider.
· Price. Well price is king in most cases and a lot of gamers would have looked for the cheapest company in the top ten of Google and gone with them without even thinking about it. However choosing the lowest price is a haphazard way to choose any service, whether it be a plumber, an electrician or in this case a game server. You can choose the cheapest and take a punt, go for the most expensive and hope that translates into a quality service or if you're like me go for the middle ground, not too cheap and not too expensive. I use this practice when choosing everything, from toasters to hotel rooms. But price isn't the only factor to consider.
· Reputation. Reputation has an extremely strong influence in any decision on which service provider to use. There are game server companies that seem to of been around since the dawn of the internet age, and there are new unknown companies that have only formed in the past years. The older companies have seen it all before and maybe can get caught not putting the effort into the control panel functionality that a modern games and gamers demand. New vibrant young companies can be enthusiastic and energetic in their approach to both new game releases and support but they can also make mistakes and show a lack of experience in challenging support matters. The complicated nature of the newer indie games and steam early access games make it very difficult to get a smooth running game server so I would opt for the middle ground again, a company that's not too long in the tooth but also old enough to have experience where it matters.
What else does a GSP offer then?
There are also some other factors to consider when selecting a GSP:
· Control Panel Interface. This is a Graphic User Interface (GUI) where you control your game server from. Here you can launch the game, change the rules, add server passwords, add bans, allows, add administrators and add mods. This should be fast and easy to use. The industry standard is TCAdmin 2, but many providers have custom created control panels to reduce costs as TCAdmin can be rather pricy for enterprise companies.
· Support staff experience. The support staff has experience to set up the game to make is easier to play as lots of games nowadays have complicated set up procedures. A good GSP will have a configuration editor already configured in the GSP control panel so that you do not need to go and research all the information to edit the file yourself. The key is the better the staff the less problems will go wrong with your server once you have it.
· Mod installers. Some GSPs have mod installers where you can, in one or two clicks, completely install a mod to a game with all the required files without the need to upload via FTP. Again this is a setup that your GSP would/should have made themselves.
· 24 Hour support. I play games into the wee hours of the morning and business hours support is no good to me. I want 24 hour support and I want someone to get back to me pretty quick so I can get on with my gaming. I don't get a lot of free time and I don't want it wasted on staring at a broken server, even if I did broke it myself.
· Instant Setup. Most GSP's should have instant setup, in my experience this is not actually instant, instant start of the setup, not quite instant setup, the files need to download and some of these new games can be 20GB or more.
· Configuration editors. These are necessary for GSPs as many don't want to give access to the root folders and modify the configurations and .ini files as the player slots are generally directly related to CPU consumption so the more player slots you require the more the server will cost. A good configuration editor will make the setting up of your game server easier. The complicated nature of some of the recent indie games like DayZ and Ark Survival evolved require attention to detail in order to get running smoothly. Make sure to check that the GSP is up to date with all custom configurations as updates for these types of games come quite often and can break an out of date configuration. So making sure the GSP staff are keeping up with games is a good indicator of a good GSP. Any good GSP should be able to answer detailed questions about their games and if they don't what kind of support can you expect from them.

LAW OF ATTRACTION QUANTUM PHYSICS GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS

This is the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics guide for beginners. For the beginning student, or for one curious about The Secret, or the Law of Attraction: hold on to your horses because this can be an incredible journey!
Now, you get to decide whether to take the gentle route along the carriage path, or whether you want to climb straight up through the labyrinthine trail. I work with children, and can tell you that they have a natural connection to the Law of Attraction. When a child looks up and sees something they want, they naturally claim it. A 3 year old I work with says, "Hey, Nancy, there's my car!" This is quite natural and at first was disconcerting to me as I was looking for his father's car. But, he wasn't seeing his father's car, he was looking at his brand new, shiny, big wheel pickup truck! He does it everytime he sees a black, new, pickup truck. This ownership, in the present time, his admiration, joy, and committment to this truck, is the Law of Attraction in a nutshell. -- That's the carriage trail. There's more to it of course.
We, from Mindbridge, also train people to use simple affirmations. Whenever a member of the family is sick, or hurting, we all recite, "I am, whole and perfect. I am, strong and powerful. I am, happy, harmonious, healthy, wealthy and wise." This makes you feel instantly better because it is using Law of Attraction Quantum Physics. What you are doing is sending instructions to your unconscious to heal you, or make you feel better. Your unconscious has control over your immune system and your hormonal and endocrine system which raises your vibrational rate which puts you in sinc with other elements with that higher vibrational rate, raising you above those which are sick. It knows how to make you feel better fast if you just send that instruction!
The movie, The Secret can be a good place to start and you can find that at many bookstores, and online at www.thesecret.TV by clicking on the banner link in the corner. This presents in a clear and exciting format The Secret. It is not actually a secret, but the Law of Attraction, and that has been written about since the early 1900's. Prior to that, it was known and used by the Mayans, the Essenes and students of the Kaballah. Some aspects of the Law of Attraction have been talked about by Buddhists and Yogis. As you can see, prior to the turn of the last century, it was only studied as part of a spiritual quest.
Thoughts become things. This is the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics rule for all of us.
Another way of putting it is that whatever you think about, comes about.

Energy flows where attention goes.

You already have experience with this. You might not have realized that it is a law of the universe as relentless and powerful as the law of gravity. The old expression, "Be careful what you ask for because you might just get it" is a result of the Law of Attraction. The phenomenon of receiving a phone call or accidentally running into someone you have just been thinking about is another example of the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics in action.
When we are concentrating on a project, or working toward a goal, we will find the resource, the book or the person who can help us move forward in our pursuit. Have you had this happen to you?
If our hearts are set on going to a particular conference, or visiting an old friend in another town when we don't have the resources, and we believe so much in this that we can see ourselves there, things will shift. We will discover a way to get a cheap airfare, or the bus company will offer a great round trip package, or there will be a new hotel opening with affordable rates for just the week of the conference. I can't say what it will be that will enable you to go to the conference, but something will happen that would seem illogical and magical if we thought about it ahead of time. However, when it happens, we think of it as "good luck." Yet, it is really the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics effect. Bob Proctor's advice would be to book your flight. After that, he says, inspiration will guide you. Business coaches sometimes say, "take the leap and build your wings on the way down."
You might have experienced making a list of what you want in an apartment, or a house, or a partner. Sometimes we put specific personal preferences like wall sconces or a view of a garden, or a partner who wears glasses and likes to read science fiction. And then, you find the exact house or apartment, or a partner who fits the most important requests and the most unusual little details such as the wall sconces or the glasses. Have you had that experience? This was the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics at work.

The Quick Version of Manifesting using the Law of Attraction:

1. Picture what you want when you can be in a quiet and uninterrupted state. Use all your senses and all your imagination to put yourself into that dream now. Be in the house or be in the car or be in the job. Feel the feelings. Turn it into a full movie with color and sound.
2. Ask for it by picturing how much fun it you are having. Do not "need it" or start to argue with yourself about whether or not you deserve it. If you can picture it, you can have it. But, if you "need it" then you will just generate more need. Picture yourself in the car or house and make a mental movie of it. The more active, the more senses you inspire, the shorter the time will be to your successful manifestation.
3; Receive it. Believe that it is yours now. Part of this is acceptance. Be willing to accept whatever the Universe gives you. If you picture a new Panoz, don't attach to it. Practice acceptance of the present moment. If you are offered a used Porshe, accept it. Accept 100% responsibility for everything. Finally, practice defenselessness. When you can give up the need to defend yourself, you will be invincible. Ho'oponopono helps with all this.
4. Prepare for adversity. The bigger the dream, the more adversity will be needed to prepare you -- to make you a bigger person. You will have to show persistence.
5. Act on inspiration. The Universe will send you here or there and will bring opportunities into your life that will send you in the direction of success. As Mike Dooley says, you just need to keep pitching the ball so that the Universe can hit a home run for you.
This is Law of Attraction Quantum Physics in action. Enjoy. Stay positive. Don't entertain any doubts.

Avoid Negatives When Visualizing or Setting Goals:

The Law of Attraction Quantum Physics effect works for good things, and it also works for the other. As James Ray says in the movie, "Your wish is my command." When you are thinking, "I'm going to be late for work... I'm going to be late for work," and feeling the dread or the fear, there is nothing that is going to keep you from being late for work. This is Law of Attraction Quantum Physics at work. On that day, even if you leave early, there will be a traffic jam or construction or a water main break. If you're thinking, "He's never going to pay me back" or "This is too good to be true" he won't and it is. So, as the old adage goes, "Be careful what you think." This is the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics for Beginners.
We're going to get a little technical here, but hang in there to learn more about the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics effect with us. We will make it clear by the end of the thought.
Your unconscious can not process negatives. For example, when you're going out to manifest a car. "I want a blue car" is a positive statement. "I don't want a red car" contains a negative in it. Your unconscious can only process pictures. This is Law of Attraction Quantum Physics. If you're picturing {no} red car, the best deal you'll find will be a red car. This also works for finances. If you're thinking {get out of} debt. Debt is what you'll get because debt is what you're picturing. Think instead of wealth and abundance and picture your changed lifestyle as if it is your present reality.
Whether this is believable to you or not, do yourself a favor and only think about or picture about what you want; what brings you pleasure and what makes you smile rather than the things that make you unhappy, frustrated or fearful. This is also the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics for Beginners.
Similar vibrations attract similar vibrations. If you have the vibrational rate of a '95 Tercel, that's what you'll get. If, on the other hand, you have the vibrational rate of a 2009 Panoz, that's what will be in your life. The second is a faster vibration. Anthony Robbins is the guru of using NLP to increase your vibrational rate.
You have heard that we only use about 5% of our brain power? In terms of the Law of Attraction, we think we know how thoughts are manifested. We consciously think of a wish or dream, and feel the feelings of already having it. That sends a message to our unconscious (-- millions of times more powerful than our conscious brain) which prepares the energetic manifestation and transmits it to the creative source, the universe, God, or Jesus. Or as Wallace Wattles says, There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which, in it original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. This creative energy is set in motion whenever we have an emotionally charged thought, good or bad, or dream whether good or bad.

It Works for Nature....

That may seem to be a lot to bite off as they say. Don't click off yet. It will get easier. You have seen grass grow and flowers grow and blossom. Whether or not you are a gardener, you have seen trees lose their leaves in the fall and then fill out again the following summer.
How do they know how to do that? The Houdenosaunee (known as the Iroquois to westerners) would say they follow their natural law. Depending on the size of the tree, we are talking about hundreds or thousands of cells that all follow their law without dissent or disorder. Are there cop-cells?
Where do they get their energy and their nourishment?
Again, any indigenous people would say from Mother Earth. Yet, farmers in the Mid-West spend millions on chemical fertilizers. The grasses of the Great Plains did fine for generations without crop rotation or chemical fertilizer, and the topsoil was at such a depth that has lasted hundreds of years since then in spite of soil erosion and plowing.
How did that happen? This is the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics for Beginners.
The earth continues to rotate without human intervention, and the tides come in and go out without human intervention or personal income. If all natural life finds the nourishment and the energy to do what it needs to do, why is it so difficult for humans?
Because we make it so. Oh, do you think that God put us here to "know, love and serve Him in this world" and that God wants us to struggle, but His mysteries are more than we can fathom --? Hogwash.
Didn't Jesus say, "Whatever you ask the Father in my name, it will be given to you." This is the Law of Attraction Quantum Physics. We are given everything we ask for.
He didn't say, "If you go out and get a good job...." He didn't say, "First go out and get an education..." He didn't even say that if you eat fish on Fridays and honor the Sabbath....
He simply said, "Whatever you ask the Father in my name, it will be given to you." And, that was a promise.
The separation that once existed between the Scientific and the Spiritual no longer exists. We are now "discovering" what the philosophers, the mystics, and the seers told us a long, long time ago. For example, Edgar Cayce told us that the core of the sun was cool. We now know that the sun is not nuclear powered, but electrically powered and that the temperature is hotter above the sun than on the surface and it is cooler yet deep inside the sun spots.

Quantum Energy

This is all because of our nature, the nature of human life.
All cells are composed of atoms and all atoms are composed of 98% space, and in that space, between the particles, is energy. At the molecular level, humans have been defined and categorized. However, at the atomic level, we are the same as the trees across the street and the daisy in the yard, except that our vibrational rate is different. Here is the province of the Quantum physicist.
Apparently, at this level, energy and particle are interchangeable. Apparently at this level, it is dependent on the observer whether or not you will see energy waves or particles when you look into a test tube. If you believe you will see waves, you will see waves and if you believe you will see particles, you will see particles. And, it is possible for a particle to be in two places at once!
Isn't that enormous, life changing news? Doesn't that contradict one of the tenants of physics that we all learned, that it is not possible to be in two places at once. It was clear and precise. Now, it is no longer so. Particles have been photographed in two different places at the same time.
So, back to Wallace Wattles about one hundred years ago, and Law of Attraction Quantum Physics, There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which, in it original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
We're not sure, but it looks as if anything is possible. It looks as if we all can learn to form particles or to move energy if we simply learn the rules of the Law of Attraction. See Neale Donald Walsch to learn more about Gods' point of view on all this.
Let us give you some rules according to Mindbridge. As you study this website, you will see that the various teachers each has his or her own rules governing the best way to manifest what you want. Some such as Joe Vitale will say that manifesting what you want is too limiting. He clears using an old Hawaiian method, Ho'oponopono, and says that there are Zero Limits when you are clear because then you are inspired by the Universe and the Universe has far better things in mind than we would even venture to ask for.

PRISMA APP FOR ANDROID NOW AVAILABLE ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE

If you love a good photo editing app and are an Android user, here is some good news. The developer of the hit iOS photo editing app Prisma has just announced its beta launch. If you’re thinking that you haven’t heard of Prisma, it could be because you have been busy playing Pokemon Go. So here’s a little background on what is becoming a worldwide photo editing phenomenon.

What is Prisma?

Prisma is a hit iOS app which originated in Russia and is able to turn any ordinary image or photo into a piece of digital art. As photo editing apps go, this one certainly has some unique features, and its developers are promising much more in the near future.

Prisma has been around for five weeks, and in that time, it has become the number one app in 40+ countries. And as of two hours ago, it had a staggering download count of over 7.5 million installs, which has generated a daily active user count of 1.5 million.

New features on the way

Alexey Moiseenkov, developer of Prisma, recently said that he has a lot of cool new features being worked on for the app. These will include a Prisma Video feature and lots of new styles which will enable a user to transform any photo into a serious piece of classic art. Personally, I think the possibility of 360-degree Prisma images is the most exciting future feature, and it’s certainly something I would be interested in using.

Prisma app for Android

Over the last few weeks, the frustration of Android users who wanted to get their hands on the Prisma app for Android has been rising. It may be the huge amount of people who have been openly vocal about wanting it that has pushed Moiseenkov to work on the Android version of Prisma.

In a recent Facebook post, Moiseenkov announced that Android users who wanted to get their hands on the app should sign up for the Prisma newsletter. This would give them the chance to be kept informed about the progress of the Android version’s development and also enable them to take part in field testing / beta testing.

How to sign up and get the beta

As of this writing, the team behind Prisma is giving away the app for free but it’s invite-only. A few users have already received the beta version of the app (which can be downloaded from below link). If you’re interested in getting your hands on the app, you will first have to sign-up for the newsletter, and after you have typed in your email and then validated your subscription, that should be it.

However, I don’t think this automatically entitles you to get the Prisma app for Android. I think it just puts you on a list of interested people and will allow you to try the beta before it appears on Google Play. If you understand that this doesn’t guarantee you will get the app, click here and head on over to the Prisma site and sign up for the newsletter.

UPDATE 2: The downloaded app from the above apk link is closed by Prisma developers. Here’s what the developers said on their official Facebook page, “A big thanks goes to everyone who has managed to try our beta for Android. We have collected enough feedback and had to close it. We’ll come back to you guys with an official launch on Google Play later this month. Thank you for your patience.”

UPDATE 3: Prisma Official App For Android Now Available To Download From Google Play

App Description:

Be an artist! Turn your photos into awesome artworks:

– Modern art filters!

– Stunning photo effects

– Fast sharing

Prisma transforms your photos into artworks using the styles of famous artists: Munk, Picasso as well as world famous ornaments and patterns. A unique combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence helps you turn memorable moments into timeless art.

POKÉMON GO GAME

Travel between the real world and the virtual world of Pokémon with Pokémon GO for iPhone and Android devices. With Pokémon GO, you’ll discover Pokémon in a whole new world—your own! Pokémon GO is built on Niantic’s Real World Gaming Platform and will use real locations to encourage players to search far and wide in the real world to discover Pokémon. Pokémon GO allows you to find and catch more than a hundred species of Pokémon as you explore your surroundings.

The Pokémon video game series has used real-world locations such as the Hokkaido and Kanto regions of Japan, New York, and Paris as inspiration for the fantasy settings in which its games take place. In Pokémon GO, the real world will be the setting!

Get on your feet and step outside to find and catch wild Pokémon. Explore cities and towns around where you live and even around the globe to capture as many Pokémon as you can. As you move around, your smartphone will vibrate to let you know you're near a Pokémon. Once you've encountered a Pokémon, take aim on your smartphone's touch screen and throw a Poké Ball to catch it. Be careful when you try to catch it, or it might run away! Also look for PokéStops located at interesting places, such as public art installations, historical markers, and monuments, where you can collect more Poké Balls and other items.

Customize Your Trainer

When you first play Pokémon GO, you’ll get to customize the look of your Trainer, choosing apparel and accessories to give him or her a cool look. Your customized character will appear as you move around on the map, as well as on your profile page. Plus, other players will see your character when they visit a Gym you control.
Add to Your Pokédex

In Pokémon GO, you will gain levels as a Trainer, and at higher levels you will be able to catch more powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You'll also have access to more powerful items, such as Great Balls, to give you a better shot at catching Pokémon. Keep exploring and encountering Pokémon to raise your level!

There are other ways to add Pokémon to your Pokédex, too. If you catch the same species of Pokémon enough times, you’ll get the opportunity to evolve one of them! And as you explore, you may find Pokémon Eggs at PokéStops, which will hatch after you’ve walked a specific distance. When they hatch, you may find Pokémon you’ve never seen before!

Some wild Pokémon will appear only in certain places near where you live or around the world. For example, some Water-type Pokémon may appear only near lakes and oceans. If you're away from home, be sure to stay alert for Pokémon you wouldn't normally encounter!

If you catch the same species of Pokémon enough times, you can evolve one of them. This is useful for catching Pokémon you’re having a tough time finding in the wild. For example, if there are large numbers of Poliwag in your area, but no Poliwhirl nearby, catch a lot of Poliwag to eventually gain the ability to have one of them evolve into a Poliwhirl!

Join a Team and Battle

At a certain point in the game, you’ll be asked to join one of three teams. Once you join a team, you’ll gain the ability to assign Pokémon you’ve caught to open Gym locations or to a Gym where a team member has assigned a Pokémon. Like PokéStops, Gyms can be found at real locations in the world. Each player can place only one Pokémon at a particular Gym, so you’ll need to work together with other members of your team to build up a strong defense.

If a rival team has claimed a Gym, you can challenge it by using Pokémon you’ve caught to battle the defending Pokémon. Battles are challenging and fun. You choose which of your Pokémon will join in. Each Pokémon has two attacks, and can also dodge the defending Pokémon’s attacks if you swipe left or right. If your Pokémon win the battle, then the Gym’s Prestige is reduced. When the Gym’s Prestige drops to zero, the defending team loses control of the Gym, and you or another player can then take control of it by assigning a Pokémon to defend it.

Once your team has control of the Gym, team members can increase the Gym’s Prestige and level by battling the defending Pokémon. These training battles against your own team help your Pokémon level up as well. As the Gym gets to a higher level, your team can assign more Pokémon to defend it. You can also team up with your friends and battle at a rival Gym together to take down stronger Gyms faster.

You can tackle a wide variety of challenges in different categories, such as catching Pokémon and exploration. By completing these challenges, you’ll unlock achievement medals that will appear in your player profile. Try your best to unlock as many medals as you can!

Pokémon GO Plus

A portable device called the Pokémon GO Plus will enable Pokémon GO players to enjoy the game even while they’re not looking at their smartphones. The device connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and notifies the player about events in the game—such as the appearance of a Pokémon nearby—using an LED and vibration. In addition, players can catch Pokémon or perform other simple actions by pressing the button on the device. Look forward to the launch of the Pokémon GO Plus accessory in late July 2016.

Free to Play

Pokémon GO is available for download at no charge on the App Store and Google Play. Pokémon GO is free to play, with loads of fun things to do and Pokémon to discover at every turn. For players who want to enhance their Pokémon GO experience even more, certain items and features can be accessed via in-app purchases. Players can spend real money on PokéCoins, the in-game currency of Pokémon GO. PokéCoins can then be exchanged for power-ups, extra items, and other enhancements.

Photo Fun

When you encounter a Pokémon in the wild, you can turn on the camera feature, putting the wild Pokémon into the live scene where your camera is facing. Then capture the moment with the in-game camera you can find in your Bag. Line up your shot and hit the shutter button to take the photo. The snapshot will then be saved to your smartphone’s photos for you to share however you’d like.

Music by Junichi Masuda

Pokémon GO will feature all-new music composed by GAME FREAK’s Junichi Masuda. Mr. Masuda has worked on Pokémon games since the very beginning and has composed many of the classic and memorable songs that have inspired fans for decades.

THE PROS AND CONS OF LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS

If you were to ask a few people around you right now about long distance relationships, they will tell you that they are the worst thing anyone could experience. But things are not quite as they say. As many other things, long distance relationships have pros and cons.
As an optimistic, I will start with the pros or long distance relationships:
  • You miss your partner - couples that live together often have one problem. They do not have time to miss each other due to the fact that they barely get alone time. They constantly see each other and sometimes this can drive you nuts. In a long distance relationship you get to miss your partner, his smell, smile, touch and many things.

  • You get alone time - despite contrary beliefs, me time is very important. In a relationship and outside of it as well. You get time to relax, do the things you love, go out with friends, stay with your family, study or simply watch a movie or a TV show that you love.

  • It's a constant honeymoon - people who are in a long distance relationship know what I am talking about. While spending time with yourself is important, when you get the chance of meeting your partner is a constant honeymoon. You drink wine together and have long romantic evenings, you go out more for walks in the park. And not to mention that sex is better.
But there are also cons when you are having a long distance relationship:
  • Distance - ironic huh? But distance is your biggest enemy. You see your partner not as often as you would like and that can be frustrating sometimes. Especially when you hear your friends that they have a date on Friday and you know the only thing you have a date with is your laptop. Also you might feel like he can't be there for you, especially through the dark periods of your relationship, because you only see his face, but he can't hug you.

  • Tech is your best friend - as we do not spend enough time on our phones, a long distance relationship is based mostly on tech. You Skype, Facebook or text all through the day in order to communicate with your partner.

  • Things can get heated - if you are a rather jealous person you might get a little out of your mind in a long distance relationship. Mostly because you want to keep tabs on your boyfriend and if he is some miles away, you can't.
Despite what people believe long distance relationship do work. But they work only if the two partners are fully committed and ready to make it work. 10 DRINKING GAMES FOR TWO PEOPLE

Fun Drinking Games for Two

Everyone loves a good drinking game. Nothing breaks the ice with a new group of people or gets a party started like a round of beer pong - or if you take your drinking games seriously - True American. But drinking games don't just have to be for big groups. In fact, they can be just as fun to play with a good friend, or someone you'd like to get to know better. These games can turn a couple beers with a pal into an evening for the ages.

1) Higher/Lower

Materials: a deck of cards (or the card deck app on a phone)
This game is about as simple as it gets. The "dealer" turns over a card from the top of the deck. The second player then guesses whether the next card will be higher or lower than the turned-over card. If the second player is right, the dealer drinks. If the second player is wrong then he or she drinks.

2) Two Truths and a Lie

Another excellent icebreaker that gets an extra jolt from the addition of alcohol. Here's how it works. The first player makes three statements about themselves. Two of the statements have to be true, while one has to be a lie. The second player then has to guess which is the lie. If the second player guesses correctly, the first player must drink and if incorrectly, the second player has to drink. Then switch. This is a great game either for two people who know each other well or for two people who want to get to know each other better.

3) Power Hour

This one you might feel in the morning. In a power hour, the goal is to drink 60 shots of beer in 60 minutes. That's one shot of beer per minute. Whoever makes it through the entire hour wins — or loses, depending on how bad the morning hangover is. Be careful with this one: it can get you pretty wasted.

4) "Never Have I Ever . . . "

A fun icebreaker that is even better with the addition of alcohol. Here's how it works: the first player starts by saying something that they have never done, for instance, "Never have I ever gone skydiving." (It's traditional to begin your confession with "Never have I ever . . ." but not required.) If the other person HAS gone skydiving then that player has to drink. Then you switch roles. This is a good drinking game for a large party too.

5) Flip Cup

Though most often played in larger groups, this game works just as well with two. Starting at the same time, both players chug a beer from a plastic cup as fast as they can. When finished, place the cup upside down on the edge of the table with the rim hanging out a bit over the edge. Then, try to "flick" the overhanging rim to get the cup to flip right-side up before the other person.

6) Battle Shots

You can purchase an official version of this game, which is super fun to play. But if you don't want to shell out for it, or don't happen to own a copy of the Parker Bros. classic game Battleship, you can you can make up your own game board pretty easily. Trust me, the set-up time is totally worth it. Get ready for a trip down nostalgia lane:
Materials:
  • paper
  • pencil
  • 6 shots
Directions:
Draw a 7x7 grid on a piece of paper, labeling the columns alphabetically and the rows numerically. That way each box has a letter-number designation, e.g. the top left is box A1.
Place your "boats" by marking Xs along the grid: three "X"s for the battleship, two "X"s for the destroyer, and one "X" for the submarine. Each "X" represents one shot.
Take turns guessing where your opponents "battle shots" are. Every time someone "hits" an X, take one shot. You win by sinking all of your opponent's "battle shots." Loser must then drink all the remaining shots.

7) Truth or Dare or Drink

There are a couple ways to play this classic getting-to-know-you game.
Option 1: Just do the “truth” part. Take turns asking personal questions. If the other person doesn't want to answer, they must drink. Awesome for people who know each other well and/or have no shame. Even better if you’re playing with someone you’re interested in.
Option 2: Just do the “dare” part. Do the dare or take the drink. This one gets a lot more fun as the game goes on, since people are more likely to do silly dares when they're drunk!

8) Quarters

Materials: Quarters, Cups.
One player tries to bounce a quarter off the table into a cup or shot glass. If the shooter makes it, the other player must drink and the shooter gets another turn. If the shooter misses, it’s the other players turn to shoot. This is probably the best drinking game for 2 people because it's a skill game, and you definitely want to practice one-on-one before playing it at a party.

9) "I'm Going on a Picnic . . ."

This is a memory game. Go through the alphabet naming things you'd bring on a picnic, adding 1 more item per turn.
Person A: I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing Apples.
Person B: I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing Apples and Bananas.
Person A: I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing Apples, Bananas, and Carrots.
I think you catch the drift. Drink every time someone makes a mistake. This game gets more hilarious both the drunker and the farther down the alphabet you get. Very likely you’ll get sidetracked by arguments about why anyone would need to bring a xylophone to a picnic.

10) Caps

This one can be played with either two or four people.
The basic rules go like this: each player sits facing the other at opposite ends of a room. Next to each player is a cup full of beer. Each player takes turns trying to throw a bottle cap into the other player’s cup. If one makes it, then the player that was scored on has to chug the cup of beer. What else are you going to do with those old bottle caps?

DONALD TRUMP; THE EARLY YEARS

Young Donald Trump

Trump, Wharton School and Real Estate

Donald Trump is well known today for his great wealth, and celebrity status and more recently, his run for president of the United States. Some people admire him, and many despise him for his shameless flaunting of wealth, either way, one must acknowledge that Trump is an expert in getting what he wants through successful deal making, marketing and creative promoting. No matter how the cards in front of him stack up Donald Trump always finds a way to the top.
Trump has stated, "Deal making is something you are born with. Its not about being brilliant, although it takes some intelligence, most people who do not have the instincts, and if they do will never recognize that they do, because they don't have the courage or the good fortune to discover their potential." In socialist countries people think small, they see themselves as a "common man" and therefore accept mediocrity, the beauty of America is that one can will themselves to success. Those who do not accept defeat, see themselves as a millionaire in the making while working behind the counter at McDonald's and keep their eye on the big prize will rise above the dull humdrum life of living in squalor paycheck to paycheck.
By all accounts Trump is un-afraid, and has channeled his energy from an early age into becoming the biggest and most successful person he can be. His goal seems to be to keep himself in the spotlight and maintain his notorious reputation as an aggressive, wealthy and powerful figure while he continues to grow his wealth.
In the Good old American tradition of thinking big, Trump says, "to me it's very simple: if you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big. Most people think small, because most people are afraid of success, afraid of making decisions, afraid of winning. And that gives people like me a great advantage.

The Donald Trump Family

Fred Trump

The most important influence on Donald Trump growing up was his father, Fred Trump. He learned a lot from him, such as toughness, business, motivating people, and efficiency: get it done, get it done right, and get out. Donald also realized early on that he did not want to be in the same type of business that his father was in. Fred Trump did very well building rent-controlled and rent-stabilized housing in Queens and Brooklyn, but it was a very tough way to make a buck. Donald wanted something more glamorous, and exciting. He also realized that if he ever wanted to be known as more than Fred Trump's son, he had to make his own mark, and that he did, in Manhattan.
Fred Trump was born in New Jersey in 1905. His father was a Sweedish immigrant who owned a restaurant and drank heavily. He died when Fred was 11 years old and his mother had to start working as a seamstress to support her three children, while Fred immediately began taking odd jobs. Fred worked as a delivery boy, a shoe shiner and as a "construction donkey" hauling lumbar.
Construction interested him very much, and he began taking night classes in carpentry, plan-reading, and estimating. By age 16, he built his first structure, a two-car frame garage for a neighbor. Middle class people were just beginning to buy cars, and Fred Trump was soon able to establish a good new business building prefabricated garages for fifty dollars each.
He never considered college because he was responsible for supporting his family, so he began working as a carpenter's helper for a home-builder in Queens. Fred was a very focused and ambitious young man who decided shortly after his father's death that if he could develop skills, he would be able to support a family and get ahead.
Before he was of legal age, he built his first home and called his companyElizabeth Trump & Son. (Elizabeth/ his mother) As soon as he sold his first house, he used the profit to build another, and he kept his business going from there, building bigger projects one after another in working-class communities around Queens. He continued to build over the years but began to aim at a more affluent market, building larger homes.
In 1929 when the depression suddenly hit, and Fred turned to other businesses. He bought a bankrupt mortgage-servicing company and later sold it at a profit. In 1934 Trump went back to building low priced homes. Selling hundreds of homes throughout the 1930s.
Fred Trump married Mary MacLeod in 1936. Their first son, Freddy, was not of the same mold as either Fred Trump or his younger brother, Donald. He was a good looking, easy going guy who loved parties, much to the frustration of the disciplined Fred Trump Sr. Freddy never could become interested in business and eventually became a pilot for TWA. He died of alcoholism at age 43.
Their middle son, Donald, was drawn to business very early on, yet he never imitated his father. Young Donald was always assertive, being a neighborhood leader with his peers during high school. Younger brother Robert was always close to Donald, but in no way as confident and independent.
At 13 young Donald Trump went to military school. He attended New York Military Academy in upstate New York beginning 8th grade, and stayed there until his senior year. It was there that he learned about discipline and the channeling of his aggression into achievement. He was appointed captain of the cadets, and after graduating Donald went to the Wharton School of Finance, where he earned his degree in economics.
Upon graduation he worked for his father briefly to finally seal what his thoughts had always been, that he was not interested in the way his father did Real Estate. Fred Trump built low income and middle income buildings in Booklyn and Queens, while Donald's ambitions gravitated to the best possible locations. All the years of thinking big had set his ambitions in another direction.

Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again

The Art of the Deal

In college Trump spent his spare time reading FHA foreclosures, and made his first deal.
He purchased Swifton Village, which was a 12,000-unit apartment development in Ohio. There were 800 vacant apartments, the developers had gone under, the government had foreclosed and the whole appearance of the deal was a disaster. Everything that could be wrong with the property was absolutely wrong. But from Donald's perspective that was great, because it gave him an opportunity.
Many times when dealing with a government agency on a foreclosure, they just want to get out of it as quickly as possible, and are not equipped to manage it. In this case things had deteriorated so badly that no one else was even bidding. Trump snapped at it and turned a profit.
Nothing could stop Donald Trump. He bought pieces of property along the Hudson River and blocks lose to Central Park. Trump loved making deals more than anything else, and every time he purchased a piece of real estate he was learning new things. It was the excitement, the thrill, and the huge outcome that attracted him. As some people are addicted to gambling, drinking or some other vice, Donald is addicted to succeeding in bigger and better deals that require him to negotiate, and convince others that he is the top dog, that is part of the conquer that comes from making a "big deal". The guy on the other end of the deal could have chosen someone else but Donald won. That is what drives Donald Trump.
For example in 1973, he came across a story about Penn Central Railroad, which was in the middle of a massive bankruptcy filing. This story named Victor Palieri as selling off the assets of the railroad. Among the assets were acres of land. The deal Victor made with the Penn Central.
Trump decided immediately that Victor was someone he wanted to know, and although he had not really done anything this big on his own before, he was determined to pump himself up in the eyes of Victor. Trump had no reputation to sell himself on, he had to sell Victor on energy and enthusiasm alone.
Victor decided to go with Trump who was 27 at the time, and had never built anything in Manhattan. Donald had to make Victor believe that he was big and powerful even though he did not even have a company name. He decided to call itTrump Organization.
By 1974 Donald was well on his way. He had secured options to purchase the two waterfront sites from the Penn Central and his name was regularly featured in the New York Times. This was Trumps earliest notable deal, and Donald realized that his bravado was taking him a long way, and resulting in earning a lot more money.

Trump in Manhattan & Le Club

Trump always had his eye on Manhattan, and after moving there to focus on the property and lifestyle, he decided he wanted to join Le Club, which was the hottest club in the city and the most exclusive.
It was all part of the image. He wanted to look successful in order to be accepted as a top developer who was worth associating with. It was located on East 54th street, and its membership included some of the most successful men in the world. Trump asked if he could join and was turned down. He came up with a number of ideas, kept pushing, and eventually saw the president of the club socially.
When Trump was eventually accepted, he met men he would eventually do big business with. "Fake it til you make it" could be an accurate way of how Trump was thinking during this time.

Ivana & Ivanka Trump

For Love Alone

Ivana Trump

Ivana was born in the Czech Republic, and from a very young age, her father encouraged her to improve her skiing talents. In 1972 Ivana was selected as an alternate on the 1972 Olympics. This allowed her several opportunities to travel outside the Communist Bloc. A year earlier, she married Austrian skier, Alfred Winklmayr, in order to obtain a foreign passport so that Communist leaders would leave her alone.
In the early 1970s she earned a master's degree in physical education, and In 1975 she left Czechoslovakia and moved to Canada to live near a ski resort. For two years she worked as a model in Canada, and In 1976 she divorced Winklmayr and moved to New York to promote the Olympics. It was in New York that she met Donald Trump.
On April 7, 1977, Ivana married Trump in a lavish society wedding. The Trumps became leading figures in New York high society life during the 1980s. They worked on several massive projects together, including the construction of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, and Trump Tower.
They had three children: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump.
Ivana Trump took a major role in the Trump Organization. She became the Vice President of Interior Design for the company, and is responsible for the design of Trump Tower. Later on, Donald appointed her to manage Trump Castle Hotel and Casino as the President.
In the late 1980s, Ivana decided to leave Atlantic City in order to devote more time to her family. However, Donald asked her to oversee the restoration of the landmark Plaza Hotel, and she took over as its President. She was truly the perfect match for Donald.
Rumors began to circulate that Donald was having an affair with a former beauty queen, Marla Maples. While the family was on holiday in Colorado Ivana encountered Maples on the ski slopes and their confrontation was reported in theNew York Post the following day. In 1991, Ivana filed for divorce, seeking a great amount of the family fortune. Donald fought hard in court, protesting Ivana's claims that she had contributed to the Trump Organization.
The divorce battle fueled extensive pieces in the gossip columns. In October 1990 Ivana's 63 year old father died suddenly from a heart attack. Donald and Ivana made a mends at this time and stood together at the funeral.

The Hair May Be Bad, But its all Publicity

The crazy, mid-life-crisis event of Donald's affair with Maples, and the divorce from Ivana is considered to be a turning point in the way the public views Donald. Fred Trump had married a smart, sensible woman, and the two were a devoted couple. Donald Trump was raised with a levelheaded, happy marriage to learn from, and he did admire his parents.
As a young man Donald was not interested in brainless bimbos, and in his first book, The Art of the Deal, he praises his wife Ivana for being a steady, level headed rock that allows for success. But Trump's ultimate goal is not a happy marriage, but a lot of publicity and celebrity status. He had to make a choice and never look back. He knows that being married to a smart business woman will not keep his name in the news.
In the late 80's and early 90's the Cheryl Tiegs natural cover girl look was popular, and Trump married Maples, who has that ultimate trophy look of that era. These days the line free and very botoxed skin, breast implanted, and extremely cosmetic look is popular. The darker hair, painted face, and more exotic looks are what we see on the magazine covers, and what does Trump have? When that look is out of style, Trump will perhaps go in a different direction, but, probably not. Donald may seem brash and even shallow to the general public but he is in fact a very hard working and serious man. He has said in so many words that the Marla Maples era of his life was something that he regrets. He became very distracted, began living his life in a carefree manner, unlike he had when he was married to Ivana. It all caught up with him when his business was heavily leveraged and he found himself 900 million dollars in debt. A lesser man would have committed suicide. All the newspapers were printing stories gleefully of the fall of Donald Trump. At this time The Donald proved himself to be a super brilliant shrewd business man. He kept his head down and worked manically for years until he not only was out of debt but his business was stronger than it had ever been, and he became not just a muliti millionaire but a billionaire. What can Trump to to top that?
In May of 2016 Donald Trump announced that he is running for president. The negative liberal press points to the Marla Maples era of the early 90s to site Trump as incompetent. Usually the main stream media is very adroit in brainwashing the masses, but this time there is a large enough percentage of people throwing back, "if making a few mistakes makes one stupid then no one is fit to be president". As any successful businessman knows, failure is part of success. If he make such a big deal of failure we will paralyze ourselves and think small.
Whether you like him or not, Trump knows what he wants and he sets out to achieve it, no matter what.
