CAVES IN INDIA THAT COULD REVIVE EVERY TRAVELERS DREAM OF BEING AN EXPLORER

India is home to many caves. This land with its impeccable beauty is dotted with innumerable caves that shows the grandeur of its natural landscapes. The length of India has been explored and here are some beautiful caves that have been discovered. Showcasing some incredible paintings and sculptures, most of these caves are now sheltered and maintained by the Archeological Society of India. Here we list the top 10 caves in India. Get ready to explore them!

1. AJANTA AND ELLORA CAVES - MUMBAI
The Ajanta and Ellora caves in Aurangabad, Mumbai are the most well-known caves in India. The caves date back to 2nd century BC. The caves are well-known for the paintings found in them. The paintings of this cave display are mostly inspired by religious ideology of Buddhism. The paintings are executed on mud-plaster grounds in the tempera technique.Location: Maharastra: Ajanta and Ellora Caves - Mumbai

3. BADAMI - KARNATAKAThe beautiful carved cave temples of Badami is located in Karnataka. The Badami caves are composed of four different caves. Two of them are dedicated to God Vishnu, one to God Shiva and one is a Jain temple. The cave temple is made of red sandstone and stands on the edge of a hill. It is one of the best Indian rock-cut architecture in South India. Location: Karnataka: Badami - KarnatakaThe beautiful carved cave temples of Badami is located in Karnataka. This cave which also happens to be a UNESCO world heritage site, is located 45 kilometeres away from Bhopal, in Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary. This natural cave is found amidst lush greenery, rocky terrains and cliffs. It's quite strenuous getting to the caves, but it's definitely worth it. The caves are home to rock carvings and cave painting-the earliest means of human expression. Location: Madhya Pradesh: Bhimbetka Caves - Madhya Pradesh

Krem Liat Prah is located in the Jaintia hills, Meghalaya. It is known to be the longest natural cave in all of Asia. The linking of the Krem um im-Liat Prah cave system to Krem labbit (Khaidong) creates a single cave system of 22,202.65 m. The cave is situated at Shnongrim Ridge. The most significant feature of Liat Prah is the Aircraft Hangar, an enormous trunk passage. Location: Meghalaya: Krem Liat Prah - Meghalaya

Deepika Singh won hearts and became an instant hit with just one show, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on Star Plus. The show that has been around since 2011 has been featuring in top 10 of the highest TRP grossing TV programs almost every week since its launch.
According to reports published last year, Deepika has been charging somewhere between Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 per episode. And, she is up for a raise too is what we have recently heard through the grapevine!

DEVOLEENA BHATTACHARJEE

Claim to fame - 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya'




In 2010, ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ started airing on Star Plus, and in 2012 Devoleena Bhattacharjee filled in the shoes of its lead character – Gopi Modi. It has been one of the top 5 shows with highest TRP ratings week-after-week and year-after-year. And, this has increased Devoleena’s popularity and fan base multifolds.
As per some reports published last year, Devoleena makes somewhere between Rs. 70,000-80,000 per episode, and this amount too is rumoured to go up further quite soon.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been around for seven years now. And, with quite a few leaps and lots of twists, the show doesn’t seem to be in any mood to wrap up any time soon. And, one of the main reasons behind its popularity has been its protagonist, the bahu, beti & mother – Akshara aka Hina Khan. As the show has grown in popularity, so has Hina Khan; making her one of the most popular TV actresses.
What’s more? According to a few tabloid reports, Hina is making close (or maybe more) to Rs. 1-1.25 lakh per episode.

Claim to fame - ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ & ‘Jamai Raja’

From ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ to ‘Jamai Raja’, Nia’s popularity has only seen an upward spike. Her sharp features and innocent looks have earned her the title of 'Indian TV’s Barbie doll'.





According to reports Nia, aka Roshni of ‘Jamai Raja’, is earning something close to Rs. 77,000 per episode.

Claim to fame - ‘Jyoti’, ‘Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava?’ & ‘Kumkum Bhagya’






Sriti Jha has been a known face of the small screen for a while now. With hit TV shows like ‘Jyoti’, ‘Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava?’ and ‘Balika Vadhu’ behind her, she is currently seen in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on Zee TV.








SAKSHI TANWAR

Claim to fame - ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ & 'Code Red'


Sakshi Tanwar has been in the industry for more than a decade. With shows like ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ and ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, she became a household name. She was last seen on TV in 2015 as the host of crime show ‘Code Red’. 



And, if reports are to be believed, Sakshi charged around Rs. 1.25 lakh per episode for 'Code Red'. Even though she is not a part of any daily soap at present, she still continues to be a household name thanks to the immense popularity of her earlier shows.

MONA SINGH

Claim to fame - 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi', ‘Kya Huaa Tera Vaada’ & ‘Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do’
With ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’, Mona Singh entered the world of TV, and into the homes and hearts of countless viewers across the country. After ‘Jassi…’, she went on to do ‘Kya Huaa Tera Vaada’, and after a small sabbatical she came back with ‘Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do’.




As per reports, Mona charged somewhere between Rs. 1.50 to 1.70 lakh per episode for her last show.


ANITA HASSANANDANI

Claim to fame - ‘Kkavyanjali’ & ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'


Anita Hassanandani, who currently plays Shagun in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, rose to fame on Indian TV with ‘Kkavyanjali’ (2005). Her current stint has only added to the fan base she has garnered over the years. As per reports, Anita’s daily fee is somewhere between Rs. 40,000 to 50,000.




SANAYA IRANI

Claim to fame - ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ & ‘Rangrasiya’
